🌑 (Jay's POV)
The house was silent when I stepped inside, but it didn't feel peaceful. It felt distant—like I didn't belong to it the same way anymore. The soft light from the hallway fell across the floor, and for a moment, everything looked normal. Like nothing had happened.
Like I hadn't just been kidnapped.
Like Keifer hadn't almost given up everything for me.
I walked past the living room slowly, my footsteps light, careful not to wake anyone. Angelo's room door was slightly open. Aries' light was off. Tita Gema must've finally fallen asleep.
Safe.
They were all safe.
And that was exactly the problem.
I paused outside my room, my hand resting against the doorframe. My eyes dropped to my wrists. The faint rope marks were still there—not as painful now, but visible enough to remind me.
Not of fear.
But of helplessness.
For a moment, everything replayed again.
The chair.
The ropes.
Kaizer's voice.
The cold room.
And then—
Keifer.
Standing there.
Choosing me over everything.
My fingers clenched slightly.
That shouldn't have happened.
He shouldn't have had to make that choice.
And I shouldn't have been the reason behind it.
I stepped into my room and closed the door quietly. The mirror reflected the same person I'd always been... but something in my eyes had changed.
There was no fear left.
No hesitation.
Just clarity.
"I'm done," I whispered to myself.
Done being protected.
Done being used.
Done being the reason people get dragged into danger.
I picked up my phone.
A message from Keifer was already there.
Reached?
For a second, I just stared at it. My chest tightened slightly—not painfully, just enough to remind me that walking away from this wasn't going to be easy.
But it was necessary.
I typed back.
Yeah. I'm home.
His reply came almost instantly.
Good. Get some rest.
I didn't respond.
Because if I did, I might stay.
And I couldn't afford that.
I placed the phone down slowly and turned toward my cupboard. My movements were calm, controlled—like I had already made this decision long before tonight.
Dark clothes. Simple. Practical.
Nothing noticeable.
Within minutes, I was ready.
I opened my door again, stepping out just as quietly as before. The house hadn't changed. The silence remained.
But this time—
I wasn't coming back to it.
I walked past everything I knew.
The hallway.
The living room.
The door.
And then I stepped outside.
The night air hit differently now. Colder. Sharper. Real.
I didn't hesitate.
I just walked.
The streets slowly shifted around me. Familiar roads turned into empty paths. Streetlights grew dimmer, shadows stretching longer across the ground.
The deeper I went, the quieter it became.
This wasn't the part of the city people talked about.
This was the part people avoided.
And yet—
It felt more like home than anything else.
The broken wall stood ahead.
Exactly where I remembered.
Hidden. Silent. Waiting.
I stopped in front of it, my expression unreadable.
For a second, I just stood there.
Not because I was unsure.
But because I knew what this meant.
There was no going back after this.
Then I knocked.
Three times.
Pause.
Twice.
A mechanism clicked softly.
The wall shifted.
And the door opened.
A man stepped out—and froze the moment he saw me.
"...Jay?"
No shock.
No confusion.
Just recognition.
"I need access," I said.
That was enough.
He stepped aside immediately.
No questions.
No hesitation.
Because some things didn't need explaining.
The corridor inside was dimly lit, the air colder than outside. My footsteps echoed slightly as I walked forward, each step pulling me deeper underground.
Deeper into the world I had left behind.
But never escaped.
Voices grew clearer as I approached the main room.
Low. Controlled. Familiar.
The door opened.
They were all there.
Zane.
Rhea.
Kai.
Mira.
Dev.
Sia.
Alec.
Zane leaned against the wall, arms crossed, his sharp eyes fixed on me. Rhea stood near the table, calm but observant. Kai and Dev exchanged a glance the moment I entered. Mira and Sia straightened slightly.
And Alec—
He just watched.
Seven of them.
The core.
The ones who never left.
And at the center—
Nyx.
Co-leader.
Second-in-command.
The only one who could stand equal.
Leaning back slightly, arms folded, completely composed.
Silence filled the room the moment I stepped in.
Heavy. Intentional.
"You left," Nyx said.
"I did."
"And now you're back."
"Yes."
A pause followed. Not awkward. Not tense.
Measured.
"Why?" Rhea asked.
I stepped forward slowly, my gaze steady.
"Because this time..."
I paused.
"I'm ending it."
No one reacted immediately.
No surprise.
No disbelief.
They understood.
"...You want your position back?" Kai asked.
"No."
That shifted something.
"I'm not taking anything back," I continued.
A beat.
"I'm taking control."
Silence again.
But this time—
Different.
Nyx smirked slightly.
"Took you long enough.
Welcome back to ECLIPSE ORDER, Jay"
My eyes shifted to the chair at the head of the table.
Empty.
Untouched.
Waiting.
It always was.
I walked toward it, my steps slow but certain. No one moved. No one spoke.
Because they already knew.
I sat down.
And just like that—
The room changed.
"I want everyone ready," I said.
My voice calm.
Controlled.
"Tonight wasn't an attack."
A pause.
"It was a warning."
Their expressions hardened.
"The next one won't be."
Dev leaned forward slightly. "What's the plan?"
"Send the message," I said.
"To Kaizer."
Sia's eyes narrowed. "Meeting?"
"Yes."
"Location?"
"Open ground."
A beat.
"No walls. No limits."
Nyx nodded slowly.
"War terms."
"Exactly."
Silence filled the room once again.
But now—
It wasn't empty.
It was dangerous.
"This ends now."
⚡ (Nyx's POV)
The moment she said it—
I knew.
Jay wasn't back to lead.
She was back to destroy.
I pulled out my phone quietly.
Typed one message.
She's back.
Sent.
Recipient:
F4
💬 (Message Thread – F4)
Thyme:
Took her long enough.
Ren:
Is she serious this time?
Nyx:
More than ever.
MJ:
Then it's war.
Kavin:
Tell her we're in.
Nyx smirked slightly.
Locked the phone.
Game on.
